For sale: used Big Sky International Chinook 2p Tent with Snow Flaps, Marigold Yellow color. $500
See this tent on Big Sky's website here. Retails for $700. This tent was built with snow skirt flaps, which they no longer make.
The Big Sky Chinook is one of the lightest double wall 4-season tents in the world. The three pole architecture is bomber for stormy/windy weather, and the snow flaps offer increased protection and sturdiness for snow camping. The external pole setup is easy to set up in inclement weather, while keeping the inner tent dry.
Included with the tent are the matching footprint, 4 installed guylines, 6 stakes, an emergency pole splint, and stuff sack.
Measured weight: 70.93 oz = 4 lb 6.9 oz (including fly, poles, inner tent, footprint, guylines, stuff sack) or 73.65 oz = 4 lb 9.7 oz (with 6 stakes and pole splint)
* Lighter weight options could be to remove the inner tent for a fly-only pitch (not sure on the exact weight of this but I'd guess that the inner is about 1/3 of the total weight of the tent), or you can leave the third pole behind to save 7.5 oz (though the third pole adds a ton of stability for windy weather).
Inner dimensions: 91" x 53"(head)/47"(foot) x 42"(height) + two large vestibules

I've used this tent probably about two dozen times. It's in great condition. I baby my gear and always ensure it's totally dry before storing.
There are cosmetic signs of normal usage, such as the footprint obviously showing dirt stains, and other small dirt marks along the base of the tent. But overall the tent is in excellent, perfect working condition.
Damage: there are only two minor points of damage: 1) One of the internal mesh pockets has about a one-inch tear in the mesh. This does not affect the tent performance. 2) There is a torn seam on one end of the stuff sack. I've included pictures below.
This is a great tent; I love it and am reluctant to sell it, especially since Big Sky doesn't make the Chinook with snow flaps any longer. It's a bomber tent for winter camping or any super windy conditions. It can handle horrid weather like a Hilleberg tent but it's much lighter weight.
I've decided to sell it because I just don't use it much any more. I almost always winter camp solo, so I've opted for a smaller one-man tent. Now it seems a shame to have such a kick ass tent sitting in storage. I should sell it someone who will use it more.
