The Cimarrons are the strikingly unique and rugged sawtooth mountain range visible directly east of the town of Ridgway, Colorado. A sub-range of the greater San Juan Mountains, the Cimarrons are dominated by Courthouse Mountain, easily recognizable by it's courthouse-shaped profile as seen from Ridgway. Owl Creek Pass crosses over the range, connecting Ridgway to Silver Jack Reservoir on the east side.
